A Sussex artist, Robert Cooper exhibited between 1850 and 1871 at The Royal Academy, The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and The Royal British institute of British Artists to name but a few of the galleries showing his pictures. In his picture, `Harvesters Resting in the Field` , the castle is thought to be Amberley, Sussex.
