Gordon Crossley Gordon studied at Wimbledon School of Art and then spent 17 years in advertising and 26 years teaching in a College of Art and Design in London. Since 1952 Gordon has exhibited 17 times at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Gordon had been included in group exhibitions in various London and provincial galleries including Madden; Phoenix, New English, The National, RBA and Thompson's Gallery Aldeburgh.

Private collections both in UK and abroad. Listed in Who's Who in Art and International Biography. Two paintings can be seen at the Chelmsford and Essex museum.

Gordon's main interest is painting landscapes and seascapes particularly around his Sheering home in Suffolk and France. Gordon is drawn to a subject by atmosphere and design in the landscape and his fascination with skies.
