Linda Luckin was born and brought up in the beautiful North Essex countryside, Linda went on to study design specialising in ceramics . Her fascination for organic forms such as fossils, shells , plants , and rocks and her interest in the work of Jackson Pollock and Shoji Hamada together influenced Linda's very individual ceramic forms. The hugely time consuming procedures involved in establishing the .decoration, texture , colours,glazes and firing ( including Raku ) combine to create animal shapes with enormous character
