Tony White

Tony White work encompasses his interests and influences in art as a biologist and musician. He uses pure colour, shapes and line in his paintings and prints . His work ranges from semi-figurative and abstract forms as well as architectural and landscape elements. Tony works in a range of paint media from watercolour, acrylic and oil, and in pastel.

He has staged a number of successful solo exhibitions, has had work commissioned for, and featured on, book and magazine covers, corporate brochures, exhibition stands and communication materials. Tony's work has also been selected in open competitions, is in private collections in the UK, Europe, U.S.A., Canada and Australia and in the collection of the Paper and Watermark Museum, Fabriano, Italy. He was awarded the Royal Watercolour Society (RWS) Presidents Award in the Society of East Anglian Watercolourists (SEAW) selected exhibition in 2012 and was elected Chairman of SEAW in 2013.

He holds a certificate in Advanced Printmaking Techniques from the Curwen Print Study Centre and is a Trustee of the Fry Art Gallery in Saffron Walden, Essex
